Great little additional device I’m most definitely moving more to using cloud applications , and using an iPad was part of that move, but when you want to type a more substantive post, then the iPad keyboard does run out of steam. This device is a great compromise, as I keep it in the lounge for fast access to the web and it has excellent battery life – over 7 hours so far. You can just close the lid and open it again later, and your up and running in seconds. The look and feel is that of a cheaper version of a Mac Book Air. To be clear though, at £700 less expensive, it isn’t an Apple. The track pad is good and very usable and the gestures work well. I really like the way it links into the Google infrastructure, with gives you immediate access to all the apps you have already installed with Chrome.
