Lenovo A10-70 tablet review – good for the money Lenovo A10-70I got the Lenovo A10-70 tablet last week to replace an iPad 1 that just keeps on crashing due to not having enough random access memory. The Positives•The tablet needs updating as soon as you take it out of the box and this will bring it up to the latest version Android 4.4.2 otherwise known as KitKat. This is a worthwhile update as kitkat is meant to bring improved efficiency savings.•The tablet boots up fast, it actually boots up faster than a Nexus 7 first generation tablet.•The display is good albeit viewing angles are not perfect. It also does not have a retina display but do you really need it, that’s your call? It is a HD screen!•The screen is 10.1-inch in size so you find you are not pinching and zooming as much, and that’s better than using 7-inch tablet.•The battery life is good; I get near the stated time of 9 hours…

tablet time This is a really nice looking tablet which so far has lived up to my expectations.I received it on the Saturday before leaving for my holidays in the Canaries early on Monday morning, consequently I had little time to use it for review before leaving. So I did the obvious thing and brought it with me! Luckily my other tablet case fitted this one pretty well so I charged it up, downloaded a few necessary apps and packed it away for my hols.Once in my holiday accommodation ( my sis an bro in laws home) I checked this little beauty out in reasonable depth…now I am far from being a techy whizkid ( i am almost 70!) but I am pretty good with computers etc and having had previous experience with android technology I had absolutely no issues at all with this tablet.I thought my previous tablet was pretty good but this one beats it hand over fist! It is very fast, very easy to use and so far has done all I require of it ie. Runs Facebook like a dream, has excellent HD GRAPHICS and…

Incredible value for money! To give my review some context – I’ve been an IT professional for 16 years, so consider myself fairly tech-savvy. I also have an iPad Air at home for family use. The issue has been that the iPad doesn’t allow user profiles, so apps like email, facebook etc have to be set for one family member only. I suggested that I get a cheap tablet for my own use (the Lenovo A10-70) and my wife will use the iPad.My thoughts:Performance – this tablet uses a Cortex A7 processor – what this means is that the processor is designed to favour low power over out and out performance, compared with some higher end tablets using the A15, which is built for performance rather than low power. Having said that, this tablet is rapid for what it is! It punches well above its weight, and runs extremely smoothly. Web browsing is fast, and switching between applications is fairly instant.Battery life – As others have already commented, the A10-70 battery lasts well. I…
